DNCWS - Survey is a GPS enabled mobile application developed for capturing baseline data of Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Systems in Sri Lanka. This is an important stride at the field level to establish a “National Monitoring and Evaluation mechanism backed with a Management Information System to assess the operation of Small and Medium Water Supply Systems managed by Community Based Organizations in RWS Sri Lanka". This tool is developed under the Monitoring & Evaluation Consultancy Component of Water Supply & Sanitation Improvement Project of the Ministry of City Planning & Water Supply with the financial assistance of the IDA; as an initiative to ensure sustainability of the Small and Medium Water Supply & Sanitation Sector facilities.
