» Home++ Description
Home++ is a home replacement application for Android 1.6 and Android 2.0. Branching from the stock Launcher, Home++ inherits every feature it has (widgets, folders etc.) and offers more...
3rd Party Animated Widgets
The major intention to build this new home application is to enable animated widgets on home screen.
If you are a user, there is a demo on market ("Example Animated Widget" in the "Demo" category, free; a link near the bottom of left sidebar can direct you there if you are browsing on Android). You may download it and see how animated widget work.
If you are a developer, check out the dev page.
Power Strip
The bottom scroll strip embraces current status, shortcuts to applications, bookmarks, running tasks, and more...
Manage Applications in Quicker Ways
Inspect Running Apps
Home++ integrates a task listing page. You can access by clicking the task list button in the power strip. To access system's running services page in Android 2.0, long press that button.
Access Application Settings
Long pressing the app button (downward arrow in a circle) will direct you to the system's application settings.
Uninstall Apps
Uninstalling is now as easy as removing a shortcut/widget by drag & drop. Drag an app icon or an widget to the bottom delete bin (turns red) and stay there for a second; the uninstallation will be invoked and ask for your confirmation. On the other hand, if you drop it as soon as you reach the delete zone, it will just be removed from screen like before.
Workspace in a Loop
The screen has no boundaries any more; you can keep on scrolling in the same direction.
